I just received my HP Pavilion with XP-home already installed, plus a lot of

I understand that XP allows you to rename folders like My Documents and My Computer ... since installed programs normally use these folders will they still recognize them? Are there any drawbacks or problems that can occur from this? What is the proper way to rename a folder?

When I download files and explorer opens to the appropriate
folder, there are already many files in the folder and it
seems to take a while for the icons next to the file names

I am suddenly unable to change the settings on my
display.  When I select dsplay in the control panel,

I am looking for the registry key to set the logon screen (ctrl+alt+del) back to Windows Classic instead of the Luna theme.  I don't mind the new theme, but would prefer to leave the system with the classic appearance until after the user profile loads.

Can not change the default "Hide when inactive".Click arrow next to "Hide
when inactive" (In fact the selection is grayed out) and NOTHING! Got
to be in the reg but can't find it.
