Folders on the desktop have a "change icon..." accessable through Properties. Documents (ie. an actual Word document) on the desktop do not. Is there anyway to change the icon associated with a document on the desktop?

Other folders when I close them in Explorer they are closed when I go back into Explorer. Documents and Settings folder are open even after I have closed it prior to exiting. Does any one have a fix?

as system administrator, under "change default prefs," i can't get the line under "call preferences," "disconnect a call if idle for more than __ mins," to be avilable to me. it remains grey, untouchable, immutable. help.

Don't know why but after doing numerous windows updates I have several new directories in the Documents and settings folder. They look like backup ones and I can't delete them. Any ideas?
