I have a problem and cannot figure it out!
My problem happened overnight.
My Internet Explorer or Windows XP doesn't remember the
size I last left my browser set to.  When I open up a new

I'm running XP Home (fully updated) on a system with 512 Mb RAM and an
Athlon XP2800+ (2.08 Ghz) chip. No problems so far.
I just bought a Fujifilm 256Mb USB drive. When I plug it into a USB

In XP Pro, whenever I right click in Netscape or IE and want
to "save picture as", it always wants to put it in My Pictures.
Is there a way to get XP to automatically save it in a directory
of my choosing?

I've been messing around w/these TWO items off and on for months
(including all the help files, etc) and have gotten nowhere...
1) COMMENTS When I click on a file, then on 'properties' it is grayed
out.  I want to be able to enter a COMMENT - which is there, just

There is a hidden file in XP that stores programs that
were previously installed. This has led to problems
finding and deleting adware, since the program installs

My daughter has moved to Misawa Japan. Is there a way to

Does anyone know how to change the default path when you go to open a file?
It always goes to my docs, which I don't use for most things.  I know that
can be overridden in some programs, but the default for the overall system
would be nice to change.

I dont want quicktime and clone cd to startup everytime I log on to
windows...if I go to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run in
registry editor and delete it...will this do what I want? and will it mess
up anything?
