I seem to have a problem with any wallpaper I try choosing; it won't
display.  It shows fine in the 'Display Properties' window, but it does not
display on the actual desktop.  Instead, it shows my background colour.
I don't even have Active Desktop activated, I think... can ...

Can anyone tell me how to customize a mouse pointer so I can make any image
or object into a mouse pointer? My wife loves her H2, and I'd like to take a

I have my XP Professional set up so that in Windows Explorer
everything opens in folder view. But when I put a shortcut to a file
on the desktop and click on it, it doesn't open in folder view. Is

I have installed service pack 2 on my test windows xp pro computer at work,  
it is attached to  alan win win 2000 server with group policies.  before sp2
the wallpaper/desktop were forced to "none" which resulted in a blue
background.  now with sp2 and the same policy the desktop ...
