I can not enable common tasks in my folders.. i have
tried going to TOOLS-->FOLDER OPTIONS-->SHOW COMMON TASKS
IN FOLDERS, but it is grayed out... i am unable to
select "show common tasks" instead "use windows classic

Hello, I just tryed to uninstall the new version of
TweakUI (ver.2.1) and Nortons pops up a warning saying a
malious script is trying to run so I have it stopped.  
This is the warning text:

I used to double click a folder and it opened but now,
whenever I do it, a search window opens...How can I

i try to make a hotkey for a shortcut. The shortcut starts a dos_program.
I can make the shortcut but i can not assign a  hotkey for it. I use
this for other programs with no problem. But since i upgraded this
dos_program it will not let me use a hotkey. There must be a hotkey

Since we got the new computer with XP last fall we've had

I want to change the "My Computer" name under the My
Computer Icon to the actual computer name of the PC. I
have seen this done before, but I cant remember how this
was done. I would think that it is a simple registry key

In explorer the icons in the folder pane have been
replaced with a simple black and white text. i.e. can't
see in the folder window which folders are shared etc.
What have I inadvertantly done ????
