I have put desktop into my quick launch bar, & i am delighted with it. However I would like to delete the icons from the screen desktop. When I do, they are also deleted from the quick launch desktop. Please Help

Since installing SP2, I get long (10-15 seconds) delays 9 out of 10 times I right-click a file in Explorer or simply highlight a file and hit the Delete key. Going through the Delete button in the toolbar (after adding it through View|Toolbars|Customize) doesn't show this ...

How do I create a seperate user with all the background tasks turned off? I do a lot of video editing, and the editor works better if I go to MSconfig and turn off all the background tasks under the Startup Tab.
