Everytime I point my mouse over a file in windows
explorer, the file properties come up on the screen.  Is
there any way to disable this?

I recently downloaded a new theme for xp, but after a
while decided i didn't like it so deleted it.
But now a load of xp icons are missing. Is there any way
of getting them back?

After the screen saver comes on, trying to go back always sends it back to
the front log-in page. Is there a way to customize it to go directly back to

I understand that you can't disable the Simple File
Sharing feature when using XP Home edition, therefore you
also can't set file or folder permissions.
Here is my dilema, a friend of mine backed up some files

or shut down. The program needs to complete before the logoff or shutdown
continues.

The bottom line:
Norton Anti-Virus 2004 installed and enabled with all the latest updates.
XP SP2 installed.  Clean boot.  Right-click on a drive in Explorer, I get a
BSOD.

I want to get rid of the bubble that comes up *in my way* when I open the
Start Menu that says "Not enough room to show all the programs on here".
Taking programs off is not the way I want to do it, so if someone can show

Anyone know how to disable the shut-down option within the
registry?  I want to leave the shut down option the in the
start menu, but don't want it to appear in the following
pop-up... only the log-off option.

Whenever a new browser window pops up it is always small, like a 1/4 of the
screen. I resize it on my own. But next time a window opens, the same thing
happens, even after I restart my computer. How can I get the new windows to
stay at the size I want them at?

instead of ordered by file name.
