I have just installed Windows XP Professional. I just switched from
Windows Me. My question is about the icons on my desktop. I cannot
seem to make them get adjusted on the screen the way I want. I try to
make adjustments to the vertical (icon spacing), but they won't move.

I activated the address bar on the taskbar so i could
open internet explorer windows up from there, but when i
type in a website address a new window opens but the site
does not load. the 1st time i tried it i got a pop up

I installed XP Power toys (TweakUI) for XP, and was just playing around with
it. When I cmahged the Shortcut descriptor from "Arrow" to "Light Arrow", all
the icons were modified and are now shown using 256 colors only. Moreover

Is there any way I can have the taskbar behave like it used
to do? I.e. I DON'T want grouping, and I DON'T want a new
taskbar when the first one is full (having to switch
between taskbars).
