cd/dvd burning problems06 Oct 2004 16:55 GMT2
For the past few months, my dvd burner will not completely burn cds or dvds.
It burns partially (maybe 4 songs out of 20) and partially burns dvd home
video etc... to disk too.  Then I get an error message saying burn failed.
I have tried this with several different software ...

First, let me comment on (complain about) a strange feature

I tried to download a web page onto my desktop. It did
not load as an icon, but just a coloured patch - which
was a section of the web page. It is still on the desk

What happened to "show related links" that used to be in
the "Tools" button?    I can't find it!  If I click on
customize tools to "add buttons" to my toolbar, it is not
available anymore.   I love that tool!!!!  Any help?

I will often have to change the standard printer. It's time-consuming that
often to enter 'Printers' and change the stanard printer there. Does anybody

I had to re-install Windows XP and somehow lost the "cascading" effect for
the START- PROGRAMS .
How do I restore it.  I've checked google and Microsoft but cannot find the
cure.
