For some reason I cannot change anymore the trashcan icons (empty and full).
Even if I go to desktop properties->desktop->customize desktop and change or

How do I get my headphones to work.  I have them plugged into the rear of my
computer.  I get sound from them but also from my speakers in my monitor.  I
would like the headphones to work without the speakers in my monitor.

Lately I am unable make custom settings permanent.
For example:
I recently updated my Frontpage to 2003, and it placed a "Language bar" In
the  Taskbar.   I can turn it off, but when I restart it comes back.

I've got two questions for whomever wants to tackle this.  I have a Windows
XP (SP1).
Question #1:  How do you do a backup before I install SP2?  I already have
the files and folders in mind.

I am using the fast user switching logon in XP Professional.  I would like
to change the default screensaver that comes on at this logon screen (ie when
not logged on).  The default one is the WindowsXP screensaver and i would
