My notebook(XP pro service pack2) is used at work and logs onto a win2000 server domain. I have a wireless network at home that provides adsl. I need to be able to logon and see the same desktop ie emails, installed programs at home as I do at work.

Is there a way of putting notepad in window when you right click on a file. It has open with, then go to notepad but would like to have it there without going to open with. xp home sp2.

yea... i recently installed XP Pro again as a result of my bad install of an antivirus program, and now i can't even install my sound card... in device manager it won't start it says... i have killed the drivers and uninstalled from device manager and uninstalled it from the MoBo ...

I have the following peculiar GUI behavior on the desktop. Whenever I move the mouse over the title bar on a window, that window is raised to the front and is given the focus. This only happens when I mouse-over the title bar, not any other part of the window.

I don't know how or when it changed, but the default action in the context menu--the action taken when double-clicking on a folder in explorer--is emboldened on Search rather than Open. So I have to right click every folder and select open to navigate, otherwise it opens a ...

I am running Windows XP Pro with SP2 on an AMD 2800+. I have my monitor set (within the screensaver settings) to shut off after 20 minutes. About 1 month ago. My monitor stopped doing this. After 10 minutes the screensaver comes on and after 20 minutes the monitor turns back on

I have two programs (Ad-Watch and Quotes) that will not 'hold' the behavior I select for system tray notification. I select 'Always Hide' forAd-Watch and 'Always Show' for Quotes but both of them always revert to 'Hide When Inactive.' How can I get my desired behavior to stick?
