On my home LAN I cannot see the contents of the Program Files Folder on
other PCs.
On those PCs the entired "C" drive is set to share, yet that folder will
still not allow access.

In safe mode, does the screen resolution always default to 640X480?
Because that's my resolution in safe mode.In normal mode, my
resolution is 1280x1024. And that's the resolution I want for safe
mode. I tried changing the res in safe mode, but it does not change.

I would like to configure my machine to startup in 1280x1024, no matter what
it is currently set to, but only when I login, not other users.  We all
prefer different screen resolutions and don't wish to change it manually when

Hi everyone! Just asking for a little help here before I put a ton of

I have a home network connected via a router/switch.
When I try to acsess the other compter I am asked to type the username and
password..
I do not use any password on the remote computer. If I just type the a

I have a big problem. I can't see my minimised task bar buttons on my windows
XP. When I minimise any window he disapear. I can maximise it only through
task bar!!!
I don't know is there any option for disable/enable minimised buttons.

When I log onto Internet Explorer and other websites, the Window is not in
full view.  It starts approx. 1/4 of the way down and can't be raised with
the pointer. Using a new monitor 27" w/TV.  THANKS!

Running WinXP SP2, somehow los my keyboard shortcuts (Win+E = Explorer),
(Win=start), etc. Would be very grateful for any hint on how to get them
back.
