Somehow the font for my entire computer (including the internet) changed
greatly in size. I've tried everything to change it but can't. Can anyone
help?

Hello, I'm desperate to add some places to the open file dialog box in my
Macromedia applications. I found a link on the web to a site selling a book

The "My Picture" folder is missing from the upper right Start Menu.  How do I
put that folder back?  The box is checked in the Property>Customize>Advance
section for pictures.

I have a winxp machine that I almost never shut down.
When I do, I am having problems about 1/3 of the time.
About 2-3 minutes after the machine is started / turned on normally it will
crash as if the reset button was pushed.

We do not have a Windows domain on our network - the PCs belong to a
workgroup. (Network administration is handled by our Novell servers.) If two
PCs have the same computer name, we get conflict messages. When I set up new
systems with Windows 2000, I can install all software ...

Using Norton SystemWorks Pro 2004
OS = WindowsXP Pro
Norton AntiVirus detects two files that are "At Risk" because they are of
type Adware.  The file locations

Would like to change the desktop icon text backgrounds to provide better
contrast.  Display/Desktop/Color worked for one comp, but not this one.
What am I not doing wrong?
Both comps at issue are Win XP SP2

What changes i have to do registry such that the messages shown in the
windows xp taskbar are not shown in the future.
Also any tutorial for the same.

Help? I have an external hard drive enclosure, which I can put a 3 Gb hard
drive into and it works perfectly. I went out and bought a 120 Gb WD Caviar
Se Drive to replace the 3Gb Hard Drive. Windows XP is recognizing it but it
is not assigning it a drive letter. Can anyone help?

In WinXp it's done by enabling "Install files for complex script and
right-to-left languages" checkbox in "Contol Panel > Regioanl Settings >
Languages Tab > Supplemental language support".

I have all my explorer dos folders set to open in detail.  They all open like they should.
But when I click on MY Computer in Control Panel I have it set to open in list and it
always opens in detail.  I can set it to list and size my control panel box and click on
add/remove and it ...

This location is pre-set to the 'My Documents' folder. How can I change this
to, say, the desktop?

I find that the "small icons" in taskbar/quicklaunch are a little too small
for me, but the "large icons" are so large that they expand the toolbars to
the point where they take up a huge amount of screen space
Is there any way to adjust the pixel size of the large (or small) icons ...
