I really like the nested folder capability of the "My Music" and ""My
Pictures" folders and would like to have the same functionality for My
Documents.  All these folders are accessed via the start menu and I'm using
XP Professional.

When I use NotePad, I usually need to open *.DAT files.  So each time, I
need to change the file type from *.TXT to all files (*.*).  Is it possible
to change default file type to *.DAT;*.TXT when I open a file in Notepad?

On my Win XP Pro system, I have the IE5 and IE5.5 programs. I used to be able to click on the IE5 and IE5.5 executables
and open those browsers. Now when I do that, I open IE6 anyway.

Running SP2 on a new computer, I have for the first time in years used
one of the built-in "My ...." folders, putting about 250,000 image
files in hundreds of folders under My Pictures. All was well until
today when I attempted to choose a desktop background.

Ok. When I right-click the desktop, go to properties, then go to the

In Windows Explorer I would like to added an application in the menu:
- File
      -open
      - ...

Is there a way to control the size of each window as it appears?  For
example, when I open two copies of Internet Explorer they will both open at
full size but when I open a third copy it will open as a small window.

...any content *inside* the window is too small to read.  I'm trying to go
from 800x600 to 1024x768.  I have managed to change all of the icons & window
titles, but can't find a place to increase the content.  Is this possible?

Can someone help me with a small problem please. When I hover over an
mp3 file in windows xp explorer, I used to see the bitrate, name, song
length and other info. Now when I do the same all I get is the file
