I really like the nested folder capability of the "My Music" and ""My Pictures" folders and would like to have the same functionality for My Documents. All these folders are accessed via the start menu and I'm using XP Professional.

When I use NotePad, I usually need to open *.DAT files. So each time, I need to change the file type from *.TXT to all files (*.*). Is it possible to change default file type to *.DAT;*.TXT when I open a file in Notepad? TIA

Ok. When I right-click the desktop, go to properties, then go to the appearance tab, and then choose "Windows Classic style" under "Windows and buttons:", a message box comes up reporting: "The visual styles could not be loaded because the file failed to load.

...any content *inside* the window is too small to read. I'm trying to go from 800x600 to 1024x768. I have managed to change all of the icons & window titles, but can't find a place to increase the content. Is this possible? Thanks

Can someone help me with a small problem please. When I hover over an mp3 file in windows xp explorer, I used to see the bitrate, name, song length and other info. Now when I do the same all I get is the file type and name. I remember seeing someone post a fix for this ages ago
