I use many quick launch icons which lowers the amount of space for the task bar icons. When I had Windows 98, as I opened more applications, the size of the taskbar icons got progressively smaller so all of them fit on one line, without some of them being hidden as it now is with ...

I was wondering if anybody has seen this particular problem. Using TweakUI I can 'Prevent Applications from stealing focus'. However when I restart my machine this has been disabled. I have manually changed the entry in the registry to no avail. Also, using the .vbs script on

This is driving me nuts! My new PC has an onboard LAN which I am not using since I'm on dialup. It creates an x'd out icon in the system tray which I want to get rid of. Here's the hitch . . . When I disable the LAN, the icon goes away but my ISP
