In my documents (and the whole of my computer) I have set windows xp pro to hide known file type extensions, but when I re start windows all the file extensions are showing. Can any one help me with this small but irritating problem.

Everytime I turn my computer on there is a box open that says 'Run time error '75' Path/File access error' Everytme I click ok or x for it to go away it pops back up. Any ideas what this means and how I can get rid of it?

I booted up with the F8-bootlog option, and got as a result a 'bootlog.dat' file. I assume that the bootlog.dat file is same as the old bootlog.txt file under W98. Anyway, I can't read it with normal programs. Is there a 'bootlog

Sometimes I come across a page which says it is optimized for a browser other than IE. It would be nice to have a Favelet to call up another browser (e.g. Firefox) to see what the difference is.
