I don't know what I did, but when I click on the Start button, I still have the box that pops up with "My documents, "My Computer", etc. on the right, but it no longer shows the recently used programs on the left.  All it shows are IE, OE and Word at the top.

When double clicking the the shortcut icons on my desktop, they start with
the search command.  I want the folder to open instaed.  How do I change the

Before I begin, I need to tell you that I am the only user of my computer.
Therefore, the only accounts that are on my machine are my own and the guest
account.
