Im trying to customize my desktop for work in 1600X1200 resolution .
I can resize all fonts I need in Display properties--> apperance --> Advanced ..
except the text size in dialog boxes stays the same and is way too small in this resolution.
Does anyone know where do you change ...

It has been "unavailable" for three days now.  Is this

Yesterday, I customized my HP notebook (model ze4933us), running Windows XP
SP2, so that "My Documents" does not appear on the folder list in Windows

The Problem:
On some machines, my password field displays the password character as
the "dot" - which is XP standard, and on other identical machines it
dispays vertical bars.

I am trying to utilize the "description" column in Windows explorer details
view.  I can display it, however it is blank for every file.  Where do I
enter info to have it displayed here?  I have looked under file properties
but nothing entered shows up in "description" - any help ...

I am extensivelly using common tasks pane in windows xp explorer, it's very
useful, don't need extra clicks to display context menus etc. But can I
customize items in the File and Folder tasks pane. For example I want to add
button "Check for viruses" with my installed anti-virus ...

I'm finding that while animated gifs work correctly using IE when
testing new pages on my hard drive they are different when viewed on
line.  I get a still picture with no animation.
Presumably I've got a setting wrong in Security or Options somewhere but
