Yesterday, I customized my HP notebook (model ze4933us), running Windows XP SP2, so that "My Documents" does not appear on the folder list in Windows Explorer or My Computer. I am the only person who will ever use this computer, so my one user-administrator account is all I need.

The Problem: On some machines, my password field displays the password character as the "dot" - which is XP standard, and on other identical machines it dispays vertical bars.

I am trying to utilize the "description" column in Windows explorer details view. I can display it, however it is blank for every file. Where do I enter info to have it displayed here? I have looked under file properties but nothing entered shows up in "description" - any help ...

I'm finding that while animated gifs work correctly using IE when testing new pages on my hard drive they are different when viewed on line. I get a still picture with no animation. Presumably I've got a setting wrong in Security or Options somewhere but

Where does this file go after using setupmgr?? I tried the $OEM$\$1 folder and that didn't work. I tried c:\sysprep folder and that didn't work. Help!
