Everytime I empty my recycle bin I get a dialog box asking me if I'm sure I want to delete it. I've unchecked the "Display delete confirmation dialog" box under the recycle bin properties. Is there a registry key I can hack to make this dialog box go away permanently?

I can't seem to pin this one icon to the start menu. When I try to right click the Icon pin to start menu is not an option. I tried to drag it to the start menu like i have done with other icons where pin to start menu was not available. Any Ideas on what I can do to pin

Does anybody know how to change the font color of file names? For example, Win XP can change font color of compressed or encrypted folder names to blue. I want to be able to name folder in different font colors. Is it possible?

I have a user's My Documents folder redirected to a share on our domain controller. The name of this user's My Documents folder is username's Documents. Whenever I try to change this to My Documents, it immediately reverts back to username's Documents.

Out of nowhere the icons on the taskbar have become large. The taskbar itself looks taller. Customizing via Taskbar and Start Menu Properties has no effect on the size of the icons. "Small icons" is checked. Checking "Large icons" makes no difference.

I have several mapped drives in "My Computer" approx 6, One of the drives "G" The text is blue that dicscribes where the drive is mapped to, the rest are black. I am using Windows XP Pro SP2. Does someone know why this is. tia

I'm assuming this is an XP thing because I don't remember having this with any previous versions of Windows... On all my menus, including the Start menu, the menus in Word, and other programs, they only show a list of the most recently used items.

I'm running XP Professional, SP2. Ever since I installed the latest security upgrade this past weekend, when you restart Windows or sometimes when the screen saver is interrupted, it goes back to the "Welcome" screen with the little icon, which I have to click to log in.
