I use XP Pro in work, when I check the properties of my C: drive it shows me what access each user has (Administrator, System) and so on When I check my version at home I don't have these options. In other words, I don't have a security option available. Can someone explain why? ...

There is a command that can be typed into "Run" that takes you directly into "Services" and it's been so long since I used it I forgot what it is. Must be having a senior moment. Can someone please refresh my memory? Thanks.

On this 512 MB PC I have my paging file set on my 'System' partition C:, and I do not have a paging file set on the larger 'Data' partition D: (where most of my data files program files are). Is that normal practice? Or are there any reasons to set a paging file on both

Is there an option I'm missing which would fix the following ? I display a bunch of files in Win Explorer. Click on the NAME heading to sort by name. It sorts file names ignoring leading zeros.

My hard drive needs replacing & as the manufacturer stuck XP Home on the end of the drive I thought that I would get a stand alone XP disc. Will I be able to use my existing key on any XP Home disc? (I'm looking at stuff on ebay)

On XP, how do I create a "Folder" object? By "Folder" object I mean an object which links to a target folder which would be located elsewhere. It does not actually contain any files except for two hidden files called target.lnk and desktop.ini.
