I use XP Pro in work, when I check the properties of my C: drive it shows me
what access each user has (Administrator, System) and so on
When I check my version at home I don't have these options. In other words,
I don't have a security option available. Can someone explain why? ...

There is a command that can be typed into "Run" that takes you directly into
"Services" and it's been so long since I used it I forgot what it is.  Must
be having a senior moment.  Can someone please refresh my memory?  Thanks.

On this 512 MB PC I have my paging file set on my 'System' partition
C:, and I do not have a paging file set on the larger 'Data' partition
D: (where most of my data files program files are). Is that normal
practice? Or are there any reasons to set a paging file on both

Is there an option I'm missing which would fix the following ?
I display a bunch of files in Win Explorer.  
Click on the NAME heading to sort by name.
It sorts file names ignoring leading zeros.

the end of the drive I thought that I would get a stand alone XP disc.

On XP, how do I create a "Folder" object?  
By "Folder" object I mean an object which links to a target folder
which would be located elsewhere.  It does not actually contain any
files except for two hidden files called target.lnk and desktop.ini.

Which things does Windows look at when you go into Display Properties to
save the current settings as a theme? (I do not have Plus for Windows XP).
It looks at colors you set in Appearance, Screensaver, desktop picture, and
fonts, and icons that you set for My Computer, Recycle ...

I want to choose the International Keyboard option but it does not appear in
the tab as an option where it should. How can I get it/install it? I only
have the Dvorak option.

On my taskbar at work when I open up more than 10 programs at one time the
taskbar goes to another page and I have to use the up and dow arrows to
navigate between windows.
At home I can open up 18 programs before I have to use the up and down

I have weather.com set to open on boot up.  I want it in my systray,
but it's also on my taskbar.  When I close the taskbar icon, the
systray icon closes too.  How do I keep it alive in systray and off my
taskbar?

I recently purchased a new PC with Windows XP Pro.  My former W98
enabled one to view the boot up options (safe mode, normal, etc).
Currently, I have my motherboard's logo/splash screen appear
momentarily.  How does one remove this?  If removed, would I see the
