I have installed .Net and it altered the way I logon. Before, I didn't have to enter passwords or go thru a "click the user" screen. The computer just booted all the way to my desktop without any intermediate steps.

The day I uninstalled IconPackager, this probelm comes out.. because one by one, my icons are going corrupted, they're going blank. I'll attach and image on this post so you'll see what my icons look like. First, the ".txt" and ".jpg" files are the only blank icons, and now,

If you rename the file "Control.exe" to (for instance) "xControl.exe" that would disable Control Panel, is that correct? Would it affect any other part of the system? and/or what system 'problems' would it cause, if any?

on the task bar there are many little icons that I am not very interested in. These I have hidden. No big problem What I would realy find useful is to have the little icons of programs I actualy use loaded onto the task bar when I start the computer.
