This is a different computer to the thread "ntldr is missing" above. Before I upgraded from W98SE to XP I had IE6 automatically firing up the dial up network connection. I've had to re-install and all I have is two independent connections.

I've started using some large map files. Just noticed that the status line in a My Computer window displays 999 MB for anything over that size (e.g 2.3 GB). Is that a known bug of Win XP? Any work around please?

I have Pentium 4 2.4GHz, 256 MB RAM, and Windows XP SP2 with new updates. 5 days ago I formated hdd because mu computer occasionally freezed, even then I had Win XP SP2 + updates, and now I do all that from the beginning and it 's the same problem (FREEZE) and I must restart again.
