In IE Links, what does Toggle Images.exe do? (I imagine it's supposed to turn on or off images) I've never used this feature before. Thanks,

I used windows 2000 for years. You used to be able to just drag the pointer over the text in a dos windows and just right click and it would copy to the clipboard. Now with XP, you have to click the icon in the top left corner >>Edit>>Mark

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this but I wanted to get this comment out there. I know there are some awfully smart folks at Microsoft so I'm sure this has been thought up before.... but here goes. I think it would be very useful if I could rearrange taskbar objects ...

I've tried adding new document templates to the "New menu" that appears when right clicking on the desktop or in windows explorer. I've tried doing it manually by editing the registry and putting the proper document files into windows/shellnew, and it doesn't work. I tried

the operation in which my double clicking starts. i.e. I now go to the search feature if I click an item on my desktop. When I right click on it I see search is the top option and open is now at the bottom. Any help resolving this would be great and appreciated

Came back to old files from about 2 years ago. The File names are yellow, like bright yellow. I cant really read the file names cause of the white background. I cant find out how to change them to black.

I once found some kinda tweak (registry tweak?, shell extension?) that allowed Windows to also add recently-run *programs* to my Recent Documents list. I've Googled heavily, but can't seem to find it anymore. Any ideas?

Some of my applications are complaining that they can't find certain things to do with COM. Unfortunately, I have no idea what COM is and I am not much wiser after using Google although I think it may be linked to ActiveX.

I would like to configure a Logitech keyboard to start whatever screensaver is the present screensaver in WinXP Home. If is a *.scr file is double clicked, such as ssstars.scr, the saver will start. If scrnsave.scr is double clicked only a blank screen occurs.
