I have several items in my Scheduled Task. When I look on the window of Schedule Task, it shows 4 of the programs as Running. Nothing is happening, they just keep running and the task do not get activated. Any suggestions.

I'd like to have "Search..." in the context menu open a search program of my choosing in place of the default sucky windows search. Can this be done with some registry edit or by replacing some windows file with a hacked version?

I Have just installed a Maxtor SATA 200 GB hard drive in my computer. Partition Magic reads this drive at slightly over 200 GB, but Windows XP reports it as 193GB. What gives?

I tend to use long file names, so as to identify needed files readily. If the file saves to my C drive in Windows XP Professional, I don't pay particular attention to the length of the file name that I've used.

I've got XP Pro SP2. My JPE, JPEG, JPG files are displaying the Netscape icon next to them even though I have gone to Windows Explorer > Tools > Folder Options and set it up so that Photoshop opens each of these file types. The Photoshop icon is displayed in the Folder Options ...

I am hoping there is a way to customize colors and fonts within certain apps, games etc. For example, Solitaire in windows has small fonts and a pretty bright green backgrounds. I have bad eyes and bright backgrounds make it worse. Another example would be in Office
