Apparently, they just aren't there. I've no idea how to get them back. It
seems as if when I minimize programs, they do minimize...but no taskbar or

I've never seen a windows installation do this before. This is in Xp Pro. At
work. we recently upgraded from 2000 to Xp. They used a canned type upgrade
where it's a total rewrite. I don't know if others have this problem or
don't know because they have never tried to use this ...

Has anybody a gina.dll with a Icon on the welcome Screen, who can start the
OnScreen Keyboard?
WinXP Pro doesn´t have a function, to get the OSK in the Welcome Screen to
Logon when no Keyboard ist present.

I am trying to make a screen saver out of a Word document. I want my screen
saver to be my To Do List. I would like to be able to modify the list nad
have it appear as a screen saver.

I've seen in a previous organisation they changed the background image when
the PC was in a locked state (i.e. user logged in but workstation locked).
Can someone elaborate on how I achieve this?

I have no trouble getting the Remote Desktop and Network Connections to work
from my laptop to my desktop, which has no monitor. But when I use Remote
Desktop to play music, the music comes through my laptop instead of the
remote computer's sound card.

Have just reinstalled XP Pro on the C: drive of a partitioned h.d.
My one and only desire has always been to have *My Documents*
transferred to my D:\  data drive. The bulk of my data has all the
time been in D:\My Docs.

I can cause Explorer to open to "My Network Places" with the command

I would like to open three levels deeper: My Network Places, Entire
Network, Microsoft Windows Network, <WORKGROUPNAME>.

Can anyone tell me why my new keyboard is displaying a é and É when trying to
