We have half a dozen public access computers which are a bit vulnerable.
'DeepFreeze' is loaded which restores settings but users can still play.
Is it possible to set up a user profile with no icons or start menu and have
Internet Explorer run in non-changeable full screen mode.

I've seen all the messages about how to fix the problem when the Common

For a friend of mine, I downloaded the (Vietnamese) LIP (Language
Interface Pack) from microsoft.com and installed it over an English
Windows XP Pro. It works great, but I can't find where to turn it off! I
can uninstall it - then everything is back in English - and then

Somehow all of my standard yellow folder icons have been all changed to
a yellow folder with a white and blue widows dialouge window laying
over the corner of the standard yellow icon.
All I want is my regular folder icons back. I figured out how to change

I don't know why this happened, but my friend told them it's happened to them
before so I assume it's a bug in XP's folder setting system.  
For normal folder, you can choose customize them into "Music Albums" "Photo
Albums" "General Documents" and all these different type of ...

When I power up my computer and I come to the sreen where I choose the USER,
under my account it always says:
Admin Kennan (my account)
#'s UNREAD MESSAGES.

I set up this batch file
STEP1:

I have set up a batch file to do backups from C: to F: (external disk)
One line in the file is:
C:\Windows\System32\Xcopy.exe "C:\Documents and Settings\Trevor\My
Documents\*.*" "F:\0 C_Backup\Documents and Settings\Trevor\My Documents" /D

When I drag some file to the desktop they arrange themselves in a
diagonal (sloping down from the upper left).
I suspect this is getting done deliberately.
How can I change this so the icons arrange themselves in a column?

The picture/graphic/icon associated with my user account has suddenly
disappeared from the Start Menu, so that only the Account name appears -
without the picture - on top of the menu when I click on 'Start'. I tried
changing the images through the User applet in the Control ...

This is sort of related to my other post about forcing Registry updates.
I've found in the Registry [HKCU\Control Panel\Colors] where the various
window parameters are defined. (Example: ActiveTitle, GradientActiveTitle,
TitleText, etc.)

I have the computers in my office set up so that a batch file runs when the
user logs in. I've added the following lines to it
-----------------------
REM: [Add Registry values]

How can I get this right context menu item:  "Play With Media Player"
removed from my various video files?
