I learned long ago that when the system crashes and the drive has to be
formatted, I did not want my personal files to be there too.  So I NEVER put
my personal files on the same drive with the operating system.  That would be
crazy!

I'm having trouble getting icons to stick.  I want all my *.htm files
to display the Firefox icon.  I've gone to Folders > Change Icon and
selected properly.  But I get the default Dossy-Window-looking icon
instead.

I found a website that showed a registry tweak that would allow me to customize the "Save
As" dialog box to include (in the left column) custom folder shortcuts.  I always save
files to a partition other than C:\.

When I open the windows explorer I would like my files to be displayed by
default with the detail view rather than with the icon view and I would it
to be effective for all the new files/folders that I'll create - I've no

System Restore point feature loves to re-enable itself on these drives
