Some (halfblind) want thumbnails in the File Open shell from within
programs running on WindowsXP, but many possibly just want the same
list- or detailsview from Windows Explorer.
The sort of view they forced via File Options --> all files same

This short batch file is supposed to take output from a telephone answering program,
append them to a text file and display the file in notepad until dismissed.

I have just moved many files from one computer to another, and I would like
to compare the files in the folders and keep the latest copy.  Is there an
easy way to do this with windows explorer or other utility?

I've tried all the settings I know but my keyboard shortcuts to folders  
refuse to show both panes.

Everytime I connect to the internet Windows Messenger automatically signs me
in, which is annoying because I have windows live messenger and I'd rather
use that. So, how do I make it so I dont automatically sign in to windows

I have a new laptop with Win XP Home SP2 and applications
