I'm not sure if this is an XP issue or what, but I'm 99% sure it's only started happening recently. In several programs, when I use File>Open, the display is always in Large Icon mode. Yet those same folders open in my preferred List mode in Explorer/My Computer.

Hi. i can create a shortcut key in the start menu for the sound recorder, which is easy. however, i want to set it up so that my shortcut automatically records until further notice... i have to cover my a.s when it comes to this one difficult co-worker (asian mother syndrome).
