Is there a way to adjust the volume from the sound card? I have one system
that with the speaker volume all the way up the speakers still don't have
much volume. Never came across something like this before.

I have Windows Desktop Search installed on an XP SP2 machine but it does not
show up in Control Panel under Add or Remove Programs.
How can I get it to show up there?

owner..(some number) and all of the programs and all have been installed
into this owner. Is it possible to totally copy all of that file ...

Can I change the default way XP displays files and folder from the "List
view" to the "Details view" format?
And can I also change the View | Arrange Icons default from "name" to

Suddenly my Internet Explorer will not let me navigate back. It requires me
to "Refresh" to go back to the last screen regardless of what site I am on. I
have looked through my "Options" but cannot find a setting to correct this.

I'm using XPSP2.  I'd like to change the default yellow folder to a

After installing updates for my Win XP Professional I found that I have got

you know how when you go under "system properties" and you see the OEM logo?
