I've written a script that changes the windows explorer view to 'list'.  It

When I open the control panel I get a message saying "Dr Watson Post
Mortem" has encountered a problem and needs to shut down. The computer
seizes up and I have to shut it down again. At the moment I don't use
the control panel at all.
