I realize this is a popular topic, however all the threads I could retrieve on the subject aren't really answering my question(s).

I just installed Lords of Everquest and its not working.  I have Windows XP and a Dell dimension 2400. I just installed new Audio/Video drivers from Dell support and it didn't fix the problem.  Can someone give me a list of troubleshooting steps to follow?

I have downloaded puzzles but when I want to open the
files, I am told they can't be opened because windows need
to know what program created them.  These puzzles
are "JPL" files.  How do I install them?

Had problems with URU, got to portion of game and the
system kept rebooting.  UnLoaded URU and then reloaded and
message 'cant find setup file' . reloaded several more

hello i keep getting this error message when i try to
install several games & programs it says:
error 1311 source file not found D:\data1.cab. Verify the
file exists and that you can acces it.
