Pro.  I can load the game in Windows using DOS prompt, but have no sound.

when i play games in win xp the computer restarts in the
middle of the game and an error report comes up with a
minidump file

I have DirectX 9.0, and I'm trying to play a game called
NoCTURNE.  Shouldn't it work?

games exits after a few seconds of starting the actual
game and goes back to the desktop with no error msg. my
computer is defenetly powerful enough to run the games
and i got all the latest updates for the graphics card

Any game I play will freeze within 20mins, no crash dump
cannot do anything other than pull the plug.
I've tried everything, clean installs, formats,
bootsector wipes, fat32/ntfs, drivers & bios up-to-date,
