During the first 10 minutes of playing the game, always
my computer shuts off and restart. When it does restart
it comes back with a different screen configuration,
obviusly I cant play the game. What can I do?

I was hoping I could get some help.  I'm trying to get into Yahoo games and I
can't.  I can access any of the Yahoo games except one with Lounges (i.e.
chat rooms) It gives me an error message:

I have a microsoft sidewinder joystick and a force
feedback steering wheel. They worked fine on windows 98.
I recently bought a new comp. with windows xp. I put in
the sidewinder cd and I always get a window pop up

I followed one the tips regarding installation where you copy the CD to
the hard drive. Problem: when copying I get the error message 'cyclic
redundancy'. It seems to be a CAB file that does not want to be copied.
Is there any way around it?

i have tried to install SimCity 3000 and Wheel of Fortune, but something
comes up always saying "The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS
and Microsoft Windows applications" and it says on top 16 bit windows
subsystem  Help?

I have had this problem with Microsoft games like Age of empires, age of
empires 2, rise of nations etc. When I start the game, it keeps scrolling
down to the right bottom of the screen even though I'm not pressing any
buttons and quitting the game and closing it doesn't help.. ...

I've recently started getting this annoying problem.

I somehow lost my freecell, hearts, minesweeper, etc. games.  I searched the
computer.  I know there is nothing else I can do to get them back on
microsoft.com but I do not want to load the Home Edition CD...it states do
not use to reinstall operating systems already installed on ...

i recently bought 1942 anthology and when installing disc 1, it installs fine
but when disc 2 starts to install my computer freezes and the cd-rom wont
eject the disc and the power button on my computer fails so i have to unplug
from the electrical outlet to restart and eject ...

When ever i try to download directx for sims 2 it tells me that 'CABINET
FILES CANNOT BE TRUSTED'. and so then i was told to uninstall direct x. it
still dosnt work and now when i try to open the game up it tells me D:/ is
not a valid Win32 application. but it never did that ...

compability mode in window XP :
is it safe to use compability mode in window XP ? ....running old dos game
under window 95 or window 98 ? i tried using it and my system crash ! .... i
was forced to reinstall again with the help of an computer repairman
