will not run get "no entry" type icon when select open or double click?

Hi all ... before I by it ,, I want to know if Novalogics  Joint Operations
Typhoon Rising is only a Multiplayer game or is it a regular game also with

ok - i'm not very computer savvy --- & i'm not having any serious issues with
video card right now. i just installed tiger woods pha '06 & everything is

I recently installed McAfee ViruScan Entreprise Edition and a wi-fi routing
system which works just fine. The only thing: I cannot play Windows online
games anymore! The game (ex : backgammon) opens, I get the usual starting
windows, up to the game board. Even the dices roll ...

I have a Windows XP machine (Intel Platform) with two PCI Express slots
in it. I would like to have two OpenGL Cards (say Card A and Card B) in
the system. The idea is to create two concurrent OpenGL rendering
contexts (Rendering Context A attached to Card A and Rendering Context

I've got a problem trying to install this game (EA NBA Live
2004)...install goes fine until it asks for the second disk..I insert
it and nothing...get the 'not responding' message...can't get it to
work. I can read the disk but it just won't load. What's odd is that

My counter strike game still doesnt work when i open it. It just opens to a
black screen and then goes back to my desktop.  I tried taking it off the
applications list on my firewall and then adding it again and all that and
none if it worked. What do i do?

when i try to instal the game an error message pops up
saying.C:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt. The system file is not suitable for
running MS-DOS and Microsoft windows applications.
like so can anyone help me out here on what to do...it never use to do this

I have a game and after the install , when I click on the exe. file to start
, it wont because it says I need to install directx 8. I have direct x 9.
what do you think it might be. Its the game  Star Trek Fleet command 3.

I seem to have accidentily uninstalled internet backgammon. So I thought I
could reinstall it with my XP install disk but I can't find it on there. Can

i dl the aoe 3 demo and whenever i try to start the game it doesnt work...i
get an error saying that direct3d could not intialize

I have been trying to get the game Call of Duty to work, but at first it was
giving me a message saying my video driver needed to be updated. I did that.
Now it is giving me this message GL_ARB_texture_compression not found. Does
anyone know what this means and how to fix it? ...
