I'm hoping someone can help eliminate some problems I'm having with crashing
games.  The problem's been ongoing for a while but I've just come across a
very repeatable crash which should assist in troubleshooting.  First off,
some games are very stable on my machine (Doom 3, Quake 4 ...

Here I was looking at some of the titles that I have completed ages ago.  
Then I remembered that a person can add 'extensions' to the executable to
expand the commands available in the 'in-game' console, such as no-clip,
god,allammo, and such.  I've done it to Aliens vrs Predator ...

in the Spite and Malice games will not load.  It comes up and i can hear it

can anyone help?  i am having trouble running games and cretain screensavers
on my pc. some screensavers are running extremely slowly. some games don't
run. i cannot install sims 2. when i try to install sims 2 a message comes up
saying i do not have directx installed, but i do.

i have been trying to install age of empires III and an error stops the
