Have a Netgear MA401 11mbps wireless network card. Device
manager says everything is OK with the hardware, but
device status shows red (NO CONNECTION) and I dont know
how to get it to work with XP. It works fine with my Win98

Okay folks, another stupid problem that I can't
understand. I was having trouble installing Windows XP. I
was getting pissed and decided to try almost anything.
During that time I formatted my disc many different times

discs with drivers for my hardware. i want to know wether
i can copy them to a cd then just paste them in the right

I have another computer in my home that runs windows xp.
Its a HP 7955 series computer. Well I ended up with a
virus and started to format and restore the computer, then
it really screwed up. Now I can't get a floppy or a cd rom

I've done a fresh install of XP and applied all service packs and patches.
I have a Yamaha 3200E CDRW as the only drive on the main board controller,
all other hard drives are on a Promise controller.  The drive worked fine

My C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\OWMngr.exe is infected with a
trojan virus. My Norton has it quarinteened but it
recommends to delete and reinstall. Does anyone know which
file I need to look for on my original discs to reinstall

My guess is that it is on the way out, it shoudl have a 1
year garentee, so you can take it back.

just installed windows XP and my joystick (sidewinder
precision pro) is incompatable with XP. it worked very
well on windows 98. Is there any thing i can do or will i
have to buy a new joystick?

My HD was factory-formatted and partitioned into 2
logical hard drives. Is there a way or a command for me
to resize (increase or decrease free space) a partition
without losing or messing up with its data?
