What's the diff between "master" and "slave" drives?30 Nov 2003 23:47 GMT9
Can someone explain the difference between making a HD a master drive and
making it the slave drive?
I've laways presumed the master drive was bootable and the slave not. Is
that correct? If so, is that the only difference?

I have bad sound thru media player, sound hags usually when using the mouse
I have 512 of ram.  A friend suggested buying a separate sound card instead
of using the motherboard (Epox) one

Can somebody please help!  I installed a belking 2 port

be enabled (after installing SP1a in XP).
How do I enable 48bit LBA ?

I've always used this reg tweak in the past but I had to
format ysterday and they just don't seem to work now.
Applying the original reg tweak, "2gfl-f.reg", makes the F
keys disabled regardless of whether the F Lock key is on

On the same cable I have a Zip Drive. I wanted to install
