When i start up my computer i get an error message that

I upgraded a win 98 built system in 2001 to windows xp, I
continually get a blue screen, telling me that I have a
hardware failure, and to notify my hardware vendor.  they
can't tell me anything, it always passes all the test's.

Need information about these device boxes that we can
insert a hard drive and plug into USB port and use as a
backup device.  Only info we have right now is that this
is possible.  What can we search for in yahoo/google for

Does upgrading your PC (motherboard, CPU, memory) require one to reinstall Windows XP

Ok I am running a wireless network, my main computer
downstairs is hardwired into the internet and this
computer I am on right now is using a D-Link DWL-520+
which is a wireless network adapter that I use to connect

I am a new computer user, I had several viruses detected
too late, so I went to delete all files, so that I could
reinstall later.  I changed the BIOS and master &
secondary slave, not realizing I was telling the computer

I am trying to install a new WD SATA HD under windows XP
and have run into a problem.
The drive posts under BIOS and in Device Manager/Disk
Drives in WINXP, but I am unable to see the drive in Disk

I recently bought a HP Pavilion w/XP home ed.  Hooked up
my old nec fe700 monitor, and everything worked great.  
Disconnected the monitor and hooked it back to my Compaq
w/win me on it, all I got was a black screen.  Blindly

With windows xp how do you do the start up with last
known good configuration?  

I keep getting blue screens after using my notebook 2-4
times.  I ran the diagnostics test with the help of Dell
support.  There were no hardware problems but it is still
occuring. The technical information given is as follows:

I'm looking to for a motherboard with PCI-64 or PCI-x slots made for the AMD
64 line. Does anyone know of products coming out with these slots?

I am about to install the above in my existing PC. I recall hearing messages
that to do so in a WinXP Pro PC can be fraught with problems.
Is that right?

Just loaded windowsxp on a new hard drive, and the usb ports are not recognized.  Board is MSI Mainboard KM2M Combo Series with VIA KM266 chipset.  I loaded all the drivers for the board, but still nothing.  The usb ports are dead. Help!?
