I have a Gigabyte GA-7 (?) motherboard, which has a 40mm
cooling fan fitted.  The fan is making a terrible noise,
and I want to replace it before it fails.  I am not near

Machine stops booting with this message.  In the CMOS
setup utility, the stats for the hard drive are listed,
but hard drive is not detected. When Windows XP attempts
to launch, I receive an error that there is no hard drive

Is it possible to check if my computer is overheating.  
My computer keeps on freezing. I thought it might be down
to my new Broadband modem but this seems to work okay for

This problem is to do with windows 98
I have installed a cd-rw into a system that also has a cd-
rom, when this is installed I keep getting a blue screen
with an oe error relating to vxd voltrack, I have found

ok, I re installed xp pro and had a sound blaster card in
pci slot2. Device manager says that I have an ethernet

I was told to put the notebook computer in a standby mode
before moving it.  This will prevent damage to the hard
disk drive.  However, there is a lot of vibration or
movements occure when using the notebook computer, i.e.

When opening / closing or running apps I use 100%
proccesor and very little pagefile, as a result the
system slows to a halt and takes inordinate times to open

I have a new motherboard/processor with no OS installed.  
I bought a new SATA hard drive (Seagate 120MB).  The HD
part number is visible on boot-up, but Windows XP install
program cannot find it.  I have tried changing the boot
