Just when I think I have this prolems solved...days or
weeks later it comes back again. :((
When I play a sound file off the computer it occasionally
skips. Off the CD, the Win player  is also interrupted.

I have a machine that I upgraded from 98se to XP Home,

Hello, does anyone know how to format the master boot
record using XP Home Edition? I have tryed using a floppy
on startup and using the command FDISK /mbr... but it was
on the A drive and did'nt work. I need to type this on the

I,ve recently installed an 80GB hard drive as my slave
drive.The drive is visible in Disk Management and if I
boot up in Safe Mode the drive is seen in "My Computer"
but in normal mode I can't see the drive ("My Computer")
