I have a problem with my USB FDD which is a Mitsumi model D353FUE. It
works perfectly well except when I disconnect it the whole system
crashes with a the BSD with the message "Bad_Pool_Caller" . I am
useing a laptop, P4 2.6gh, 512mb DDRSD Ram, and 40gb HD. I am running

I just upgraded from 98 to XP.  Now i have no sound,
everything says operating correctly.  I have creative
sound blaster.  Volumes are all turned up.  HELP!!

How come every time i try to use my usb v1 device in my new 865PE Neo-LS
motherboard bios v1.9 it locks up my whole pc instantly? the device is a
barcode scanner by metrologic model: ms9540 POS. the physically same scanner
works fine on another machine that runs the same operating ...

The USB ports on our computer won't work unless you have the printer on when you turn on the computer or turn the printer on and then restart the computer.  We have updated the bios, printer driver, windows xp, etc.  Any suggestions?

I have 2 optical drives in my system, one a CD-RW drive and
the other a DVD-ROM drive. For some reason however, thw

just a little prob
went and bought a stick of 512 mb 333mhz ddr ram for my atherton 2400 m/board and this makes the system crash .
orriginal was 2 x 128 166 mhz ddr .this still kills system but not as fast
have tried correcting page file turned off auto restart plus other options

Ok here is the lowdown, bought a new processor (p42.6),
motherboard (Asrock)and 512Mb of DDR ram all compatible.
Hooked all this up to an existing machine which has two
hard disks, 1 CDRW, Geforce 4 in AGP slot and Network card
