My speakers work fine on other computers, but when i hook

I have a problem with windows xp automatically
restarting.  I get a message saying that windows xp will
restart in like 30 seconds and it restarts.  I went

I have a desktop HP Pavilion 525W.  As soon as I push the
power button it starts beeping and it wont get past the HP
invents page.  It is a very annoying beeping that does not

I recently upgraded to XP and now my CD-burner registers
only as a CD-Rom.  I am trying to download the XP SP1
hoping the drivers are there, but I keep getting a Remote
Procedure Call shutdown.  Any suggestions?

This error keeps appearing when I try to format, using
Instant CD/DVD, a disc - usually DVD-R/W, or if I drag
and drop data to a disc.

I just upgraded to Xp professional and for some reason
the dial ups that worked previously now are unavailable.
I am not sure if it is the modem that is causing the
problem or if there is something else. I know that the

My motherboard is a Gigabyte 7ZX-H presently fitted with a 1200 AMD
CPU. According to Gigabyte the fastest CPU this board will support is a
2100 Palamino. I have not been able to track down a 2100 Palomino
(.18u) either new or second hand, but I have been offered a 2200 AMD.

I just installed a 10/100mbps ethernet lan card on my
Windows XP home edition, I am connecting thru dsl.
When I am connected I am still showing speed of 10mbps.  
How do I set it so I can get the 100mbps speed???

I have recently purchased a guitarport. It is a device for
recording guitar. It requires all hard drives, cd, dvd etc
to be running in DMA mode, or the installation shows an

Apologies for the OT post but maybe someones come accross this. I have
been trying to remove my cdrw drive from my pc but one of the screws
just wont come out. Ive tried that hard to remove it ive pretty much
destroyed the cross head in the scre so its now just go a big hole.
