What u can do is check with ur setting on hardware are u
having a ATX tower if so check the power setting and c if
it works.

I am having problems accessing the floppy drive using
Windows XP. I am using the Star Office word processing
program to load a file from a floppy disk. Whenever I
attempt to do so I get an error message saying the O.S.

I have recently upgraded my motherboard (from an Intel
chipset to AMD) and after the change XP would not load.
After the BIOS checks XP starts to load a few files then
re-boots, this just looped and looped.

For the past week or so, I've had a nightmare staying online.
Dialup & connect OK. I'm fine for about 10-15mins.. then the connection drops
off. Doesn't disconnect, just goes megaslow so that all pages timeout.
Right click on the DUN icon and disconnect.. but it pauses for about 5 ...

I have recently installed XP in a seperate partition. I still have ME running in another partion. Since doing so the sound has been unaffected in ME but there is no sound from any application in XP. I have done all the expected checks "troubleshooter" suggests but everything ...

I installed a new hard drive on my machine. Then i
partitionedand formatted it. Then I installed Windows XP
Pro Ed. When I re-boot up after loading the Windows setup
files, I get this message "windows could not start

i have connected a USB drive(128 MB) to my Pc using USB

I have been at my computer for 3 days trying to figure
this one out.  I just recently got an external CD-RW
drive, installed the software and hardware, and my
computer won't burn any CD information - it kept giving
