I had this card installed to operate an apple iPod. The
pc fails to recognise the iPod. My pc specs are more than
able to handle the iPod so the prob must be with the
card. The iPod battery charges using the Firewire cable

    Just upgraded to AMD 2800+, A7N8X board, and Seagate
80g SATA drive running XP Pro.  I can't get XP to see the
IDE drive although the bios (recently upated) does see
it.  I've tried different settings such as

I have the Intel D865PERLL Socket 478 Motherboard , it supports the 266mhz ,
the 333mhz and the 400mhz memory.
The board suports the S-ATA , Raid but don't know  if i will set that up or
not yet, Just trying to build a good fast PC to say i did it myself. I have

After connecting the hardware and installing the drivers, XP home indicates the usb to serial device is installed properly, but there are no com ports added to the device manager or com ports available for an external rs 232 device.  Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

Hey guys. I just reinstalled XP pro on a dell gx260 p4.
Well, everything went well until i plugged in my Wireless
USB Network Adapter from linksys. It pops up a window that
new hardware is found (USB device). Everything seems to be

When starting WIndows XP it says that a cd writing system
has been disable, because it can create instability.
THe only CD player I have is the stationary. Using the
standard Microsoft XP drivers. One file:

My floppy drive controller quit working and I went through
the troubleshooting menus which did not help (reinstall,
disconnect,etc.).  I have XP Pro and the message that

I have Abit NF7S v 2.0 and 2 maxtor Sata harddrivers.
WinXP normaly boot if one HD is connected but if 2 hard
drivers are connected in RAID 0 array WinXP don't boot. I
can see only blank screen.

I've got a USB Speedtouch modem for my freeserve connection and when I turn on the pc it takes too long to connect. It's at least 30 seconds after I've logged onto my desktop. Is there any way of making it start sooner or the USB to switch it on sooner? The reason I want it to do ...

Continuation of previous posting. I completed a fresh
install of XP Pro on a new WD160GB hard drive. WD
software warned going over 137 w/o SP1 and so I installed
that way to later incorporate the service pack. So far
