My floppy drive lights up and spins when I launch
Internet Explorer. I am using IE version 6.0.  I am
launching it from the task bar.  The floppy drive does
not always light up and spin when I launch IE.  Sometimes

I received this message for the on-board sound card on an
HP machine. It shows the audio hardware is installed, the
drivers are XP compliant and the device is working
correctly, there are no hardware conflicts. I played

i have rebooted my computer and i need to reinstall works
2000 but when i start the disc it asks for a number that
was on the jewel case i no longer have the case and
cannot load it in please could you help

this is aproblem that has only existed for the last month
or so. my computer freezes frequently and does not
respond at all, forcing me to switch it off and reboot. i
ahve cleared all temp files. checked disk and performed

As header says, Any ideas as to the reason for this?
I am running xp pro and have an older Intel usb camera that does not have
Intel supported drivers but it works ok with xp.

i tried 2 install my web cam w the disk that came w the
cam and at the very end it told me 2 insert my windows xp
disk which i do not have - it did not come w a disk on my
pc- the fle i need is called OVCam2.sys

installed logitech cam. despite successful instalation, the words unplugged keep appearing. unable too use cam. no loose connections or any wire problems. could there be something wrong with USB???????

Hi there - I'd been having some problems with my DVD drive
on my notebook, and so have uninstalled RealPlayer.  
So far so good, but I want my Compaq DVD program to open
automatically when I put a DVD into the drive.  All I get

I have a problem with my hard drive, and I want to completly erase it with format, but because Windows XP is installed I don't seem to be able to have that capability.  Does anyone know how to format a drive that Windows XP is on?  The reason I need to is I keep getting a system ...
