I have added a LG combo drive GSA 4040B to e: and a LG CD\DVD R drive to f:
I do not have a recording tab!
I have unloaded and loaded the drives with and without rebooting and
phisically removing and reinstalling one at a time.

Does XP Home support sata drives, as i can get the drive
recognised at bios level but windows refuses to see it
and aborts installation

xp home / pavilion 310n came with software preinstalled
1.1 gig intel celeron processor 40 gig hard drive
128 mb sdram & has (4) 1.1 usb ports from factory.
operation normal until i installed (2) 256 sdram sticks

When I use Windows XP to create a CD it is now asking me if I want to make a
HighMat-compatible CD.
The default is not to.    I was copying a photo directory to take to my

I get a blue screen when using F12 key in order to boot from a copy of

TO CUT TO THE CHASE, THE "INTEL(R) 8280 1EB USB2 ENHANCED HOST CONTROLLER - 24DD" DOES NOT HAVE A DIGITALLY SIGNED DRIVER AND WILL NOT WORK ON MY SYSTEM ( XP PRO). TRIED ALMOST EVERYTHING BUT CANT GET GOING ON USB2! ANY COMPUTER GODS OUT THERE ? AM PREPARED TO PRAY!!!!
