last night I updated my norton antivirus subscription.  i
was prompted to restart my computer which i did.  once i
was back up, i ran the antivirus program scanning the
whole computer, after a few hundred files my screen

I have installed an XPPro image (with Norton Ghost), created on a normal
desktop computer, on my laptop, but after running sysprep it still does no
recognize the APM capabilities of my laptop.
How can I force XP to reevaluate the APM capabilities of my laptop?

I have a microsoft internet keyboard but I can't get the
keys to link up eg. on the @ symbol key I get a " symbol,
and I don't have a pound symbol for currency. Pls help.

I cannot get my hard drive installed. The computer is not
recognising it. It's an old computer with a seagate 4.3gb
hard drive. It keeps saying when I boot up the computer

When I try to install anything, including the software that came with my new
8x cd-dvd burner (nu tech ddw-081), I get the message "install.exe is not a
valid win32 application." I can open some things on the CD like the readme
file.

We have windows XP and we are having a problem trying to
get excel and access back on.  Any help would be

I loaded XP Pro, and the NIC driver and onto a 3G hard
drive. It reads it as 1.32G. Is it reading wrong or is XP
a space hog?

I'm getting the following error in XP Home Edition SP2
from the "Found New Hardware Wizard" when trying to

a while ago i got a hold of a WD 160 GB HD.  After installing it i found i
didn't have the full 160, only about 127!  I then found out you need a RAID
or PCI IDE card to use the full 160.  Well i got one, but when i connect it
to the card XP won't boot, the card is booted, but xp ...

When I was using Win 98 I used to store mp3s etc on a 'QUANTUM FIREBALLP
AS  USB DEVICE.
I have now upgraded to WIN XP and am unable to access files stored in
it.

I am trying to instal adsl and receive the following
message; There was a problem installing adsl-usb modem:
usb device an error occured during installation.
The DRIVER INSTALLATION   file for this device is missing

How do you add memory to a 4 mb video card!
