My XP system has a Master and a Slave HD, both in plugin racks.
If I swap my Slave for a different sized HD, strapped as a Slave of course,
how should XP behave upon power on?

I just looked at my hardware profile and only find COM1, of course my modem
needs COM3, but when I look at my IRQs the is only COM1, and no other COMs.
When trying to configure the modem in WIN FAX PRO, when it checks for COM
ports, it finds COM1 find, but then the computer crashes ...

I have an LG DVD multi-drive which is causing hang-ups. LG advise current driver is compatible with XP Pro, but think problem could have something to do with the DVD software in XP. They suggest I try disabling this. Any ideas how I should go about this?
