How many hardware parts, e.g., motherboard, processor, and memory can be replaced and still reinstall  my current windows xp program?

Upgraded from Home to Pro, and am now unable to setup an
internet connection.  My only option using the new
connection wizard is for a broadband connection.  The

I trying to install a HP PSC1300 series printer. I have
windowsXP Home.  Every time I start up my PC I get New
hardware found and then I get a message that can not
install this hardware it is already install. The message

Made the mistake or reinstalling xp pro.
Xp pro can not handle my dial up modem. It evidently cant find the hardware
card.
The card says 'model fb pctel amr v1.2' & cyber solutions corp.

I have a Handspring  Visor Pro hooked up by a cradle thru
usb to windows xp updated from windows 98 software. It
always worked fine in 98, but the unit will not hot sync
(communicate with desktop and exchange information),

I just bought a new Seagate 200GB HD today.
I flashed my BIOS to support the 48bit harddrive, and I
updated to Service Pack 1 for XP Professional, and I
enabled the 48bit LBA withing bios. But Windows still only

I had my Windows XP installed on a hard drive that was set
in a P3/1133 512 mb system.  I then took the hard drive
and placed it into a P4/2.8Ghz 512mb system and now
Windows XP will not boot up.  It brings up the "Safe Mode"

I just bought a new computer with Windows XP and often the mouse pointer has a blinking disc on the right of the pointer which is very annoying. There is nothing in my disk drives. I would appreciate help in turning this blinking disc off.

Ive been having a serious problem with my home PC
recently, and wondered if anyone could shed any light.
Im using Windows XP and I keep getting a blue screen
error with the following message:

When I plug USB hard drive into the USB, it always warns me -
USB Host working with "USB 1" with mass storage device using "USB 2"
As a result my hard drive access is very slow compared to "USB 2".
